Season 1[]
Poklewaldt is serving time for setting a local fire station on fire. After three years in Oz, Poklewaldt became a drug addict. Without money to pay the drugs he bought previously from Simon Adebisi, Ronald is pressured by the Homeboys. He decides to testify to Tim McManus and Leo Glynn about the Homeboys's drug business, but it's useless because he has no proof. Poklewaldt then made business with Ryan O'Reily. When drugs were found in the mail, O'Reily told Eddie Hunt that Poklewaldt told Glynn and McManus that CO Mike Healy used to give O'Reily drugs and for this reason he was fired. Poklewaldt was then badly injured by the COs, and sent to the hospital. After that he was shown taking part in a drug addicts rehabilitation program, strangely showing no injuries, meaning either that; this scene is set much later on, or the script just put the scenes in the wrong order. He was not seen again on the show.
